Looking at the logs, even though we get a report the camera has gone offline between certain hours and it cannot be accessed. It is outdoor all the time, in typical British wet/windy weather (at least it has been since being installed a week ago) but this week it should be getting warmer.

I presume the floodlights are hallogen (we didnt install them and they have been there for a while) so i guess they would kick out some heat, but i would have thought 1ft 1/2 would be enough to not overheat, especially since its outdoors. im not sure what the camera sees before disconnecting.

but it is below them, maybe a foot 1/2 down the pole. The camera is connected to the same pole as the floodlights. I Could try moving the camera to a different network port. no budget was ever set when the switch was unboxed and, afaik, is completely stock settings. 2 cameras of the same model, and the wireless bridge, nothing is added nor taken away from the switch at the time the specific camera loses connectivity. There are only 3 devices connected to the switch.
